In order to promote a self-sacrificing ministry, all of our workers, including our guest speakers, volunteer their time without compensation. We do ask our guest speakers to further support our ministry by following these guidelines when presenting at an INFUSION event. Please download a copy of these guidelines using the Printer Friendly Versions and bring a signed copy with you to the event. We can also send you a copy via email, mail, or fax just by contacting us at least two weeks prior to the event.
The climax of your preaching should be the presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the only hope for salvation and Jesus Christ as the only way.
Rest only on the truth revealed in the scriptures with the understanding that they transcend any denominational ideology, cultural model or human opinion.
Because of our belief in the inerrancy of the scriptures, we also believe that the principles contained in Scripture apply to today's issues as they did in the past.
Every opinion and message is to be based on scriptural truth and/or the work of the Holy Spirit.
The focus and goal of a message, talk, or presentation should always be to teach, encourage, edify, inform and influence the audience according to scriptural truth, assisting them in their spiritual growth of the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Be aware of the sensibilities of our younger attendees and have consideration for everyone, especially when asking for volunteers or using any lingo.
We definitely encourage the use of visual aids in order to enhance the retention of the message by the audience through the use of slides, tactile objects, demonstrations, etc. Other teaching methods can include but not limited to plays, music, and movie excerpts (with Copyright permission).
At all times remember that we are the church and we are having church.
Believe in what you preach.
